I recently stayed at the Majestic Resort, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, there was no room available, despite me notifying the hotel in advance about this being a special event and completing all the required pre-check-in paperwork. The staff claimed there were mechanical issues with my room, but it became apparent that they had oversold the property. This was a frustrating start to the trip. The food was disappointing and well below average. I had higher hopes given the resort's reputation, but the offerings felt bland and uninspired. To make matters worse, I had booked a private dinner on the beach, only to find out it wasn't private at all—other tables were set up nearby. On top of that, the food never arrived, and we waited for over an hour. Eventually, I saw guests at neighboring tables receiving the same food as the buffet, so I really question why anyone would pay extra for this "exclusive" experience. While the property itself was visually appealing, and I did meet some nice guests during my stay, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The staff's low standards, lack of communication, and failure to deliver on promises made this a disappointing stay. I won’t be returning to the Majestic Resort.

Liked that i had someone specifically assigned to my room and had direct access to this person. Food choices were great. Need to however consider putting additional garbage cans in the room. Resort is pristine clean, grounds are beautiful, room was really nice. Food was great with good options, all restaurants seemed to be understaffed, took a while once seated and after orders placed. Beach and pool bar service was practically non-existent, perhaps under staffed issue again? Check in and out was fast. Oliver at pool was great with activities. Henry our butler was very attentive and helpful.

The property was maintained well, the beach and pools were very clean. I was unhappy with the dining choices and the food. The dinner buffet was closed 2/4 times that it was scheduled to be open. The restaurants that were open, if we didn’t like the food choices, the wait staff seemed cranky if we ordered a different dish.
