A lovely place to stay. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. Breakfast was excellent and the owner gave us some great tips of places to see in the area.

Amazing stay!

What an amazing stay! Me & my mum were attending a wedding party at Hazlewood Castle and stayed here as not far away. Catherine was the most accommodating host and runs her b&b with great care & passion. We loved it!

We had a fantastic one-night stay at Colton Haggs and couldn't fault the standard, cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. The location is great too - very quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive away from the York Park & Ride and the Outlet Village. Catherine is a wonderful host and her cooked breakfast was delicious! Would love to stay again if back in the area.

Great two nights. Catherine is a GEEAT inn keeper. Parking next to the building, in the country, working farm, wonderful breakfast ... a very pleasant experience!!!!

We traveled for two weeks around the UK and this was one of the best stays. The owner bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. The room was spotless and very nicely appointed. The home cooked breakfast to order was excellent. As I said, one of our favorites.

Catherine, the owner, was the perfect hostess with nothing being too much trouble. She even texted to make sure everything was OK and to ensure she was about when I arrived. The room was clean and well provisioned. Breakfast was a full English and cooked fresh. There was also a selection of cereals and fruits. The village is about a mile away and has a convenience store, pub and Indian restaurant.

The B&B at the rear of the property with easy parking and access.

Our stay was perfect for visiting York. Just a short drive to the nearest Park and Ride. The B&B was excellent with a beautiful room, super comfy bed and bed linen and in such a peaceful rural location. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Catherine, our host was really lovely and welcoming and cooked us a fabulous breakfast. We would highly recommend this to our friends and will definitely be back!

We truly had a wonderful stay at this property. The host was more than willing to do anything for us. Initially we could not find the property, but Kathryn came out to the Little Village, where we had stopped and brought us to the property. The room was fantastic. The room was absolutely beautiful the bed was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and breakfast the next morning was absolutely smashing. We will definitely stay again, and we highly recommend this lodging to anyone else.

We really enjoyed our stay at Colton Haggs Farm. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host, Catherine, was really pleasant and helpful. Her breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this B&B.

Coltin Haggs Farm B&B is just the best

We popped to York for some Christmas shopping and to have a look around the Christmas market. We stayed here as it was in a good location for us to get into York. The place is less then 10 minutes away from the Askham Bar pack and ride. We stayed in room 2 as there was 3 of us and the place was amazing. Everything was clean and tidy the room was fantastic as you can see in the photos. Catherine was so welcoming and helpful. I think we have found our new favourite place to stay when visiting friends in York from now on. Thanks Catherine for all your help while we were with you.

Exceptional communication by the host, beautiful room with so many little touches making it like a home from home. Catherine treated us like friends and nothing was too much trouble. The location was so quiet and easy to access with our own parking space. Breakfast was plentiful with quality products cooked to perfection. We will definitely return.

As soon as we arrived, our host, Catherine came out to greet us and show us to our lovely room. The room, which overlooked the farm yard was very spacious with a really comfortable bed and a clean, modern en-suite. Catherine met us downstairs for breakfast. The breakfast was first class with fresh food cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend this B&B. This lovely farm is in the countryside and a car is needed to get around.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Warm friendly greeting on arrival from Catherine. The room was fresh and clean and everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Nothing was to much trouble for Catherine. Definitely planning another stay.

We went to York to surprise my mum for her 70th birthday and stayed with Catherine. The B&B was everything it states. Catherine was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was beautiful, we were very happy with our stay and want to return at some point, thankyou
