Have stayed here a few times and it is basic but clean and tidy and very convenient for the station. We ate dinner here last night and I would absolutely not recommend the food, it was borderline inedible. Breakfast on the other hand is always a solid offering. We will be back, but will dine elsewhere.

Had a great 2 night stay as watching a performance at cathedral great location for walking into city Plenty of restaurants bars shops in easy walking distance Room was spacious and clean Bed comfy Swimming pool small but adequate Changing area for pool could do with refurbishing as very wet all the time but that’s only slight negative

Attention to detail

Tried to phone reception but room phone didn't connect properly and seemed faulty. Receptionist didn't appear to register the fact I was reporting a fault so doubt anything will have been done - so will be equally irritating for the next occupants of that room. If hotel wants to be branded as 'quality' I would suggest a little more attention to detail. Breakfast didn't start early enough for me - probably a sign of the modern times that people won't get up in the morning!!
