The space
Church House Barn
Situated in the quiet North Cumbrian village of Newton Arlosh, this recently converted barn provides good quality, comfortable, self-catering holiday accommodation for up to four guests. With its medieval church and traditional pub, the village is welcoming and is only a stone’s throw from the Lake District and the Solway Coast. The barn forms part of Church House Farm, once a 19th century working farm, but now providing a peaceful location for those wanting to escape to the country.

• Stunning living area with 3 seater and 2 seater settees, with a 52 nch
flat screen smart TV, with streaming access.
• Juliet balcony to star gaze, watch the bats and the owls or just to look
over the coast and garden area, and on a clear day across to Dumfries
and Galloway in Scotland

• The barn is set in 2 and a half acres of land, the garden area at the back
can be used, but no ball games.
• Pet free for people with allergies
• Total and complete renovation in 2020 to a high standard, with double
glazing and central heating
• Own private wi-fi system
• Private parking for 2 cars
• Walking distance of village pub, serving homemade food
• The barn is set within the gardens of Church House Farm where you will
find a private seating area with a picnic bench for use by guests. In the
farmyard there is also a traditional well where water was once drawn for
the farm and a stable where our two Shetland ponies reside.

• Children under 5, guests would have to agree a disclaimer re the stairs

• Changeover day normally a Monday and a Friday, but in quieter months
open to flexibility
• Owner on site if any problems, but the barn is private and has it's own
entrance.
