First time stay with days inns was well impressed better than I was expecting walk in shower excellent there was no issues with being on a services only downside in room 211 there was cobwebs around window and quite thick dust on lights by the bed also window catch was missing cap so window didn't shut properly leaving draft through holes where cap should have been and allows noise from outside come into room

The hotel was fine. The room was clean and the bathroom was good. Decent shower. My only gripe was that i was freezing in bed and slept in my clothes until 5am when i woke up and it was warm. Not a cheap stay either for a services hotel.

Great stop over to break journey

Great stop over to break up a long journey from Scotland. Easy check-in, with parking sorted easily. The room was far superior to what i was expecting for the price, especially the bathroom.

this is a really convenient hotel when travelling north. i have stayed before but it seems to have got a lot more expensive in a year! there are plenty of food facilities on site so the breakfast seemed very expensive. the first receptionist really didnt know what he was doing, he sent me to one of the furthest rooms then the key did not work when i got there. the second one gave me a much closer room where the key did work - for which i was very grateful

Good value hotel, well worth a visit.

This hotel is on a motorway service station, but don't let that put you off. It is clean, tidy, good breakfast, spotless rooms and a good bar. I would certainly use again. As an added extra M&S, Greggs within metres on the entrance so no shortage of food or drink available.

Excellent proximity to A1(M) comfortable room and friendly reception service. Only downside that would prevent repeat stay was the absence of evening dining facilities. The service area options were pretty dire, with nothing more than a Burger King, KFC and a takeaway fast food curry bar. Thought the room was also overpriced for what was on offer.
