The property looks modern and clean. The additional parking charge felt a bit of a cheap shot when you are a staying customer, not just there for a drink or using the facilities. The plus room didn’t feel much different to the standard room I’ve stayed in the past. But it is a good hotel.

Good hotel and convenient for the office but basic for the price. Housekeeping not being offered as part of the service was a vote loser for me, but on the other hand, the staff and service levels were excellent, and there was a lot of good quality choices for breakfast.

Food was very poor - dinner and breakfast (not replenishment on the cereals / fruits in the pot not fresh) / Caesar salad at night very poor. Staff at reception very poor and slow / poor customer experience. Overall very disappointed for an expensive stay.

The staff, bar area and room were excellent. However the bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on, at one point in the night I was convinced the floor maybe softer. I achieved about 2 hours of sleep on the mattress and woke up in pain.

Nice n clean but probably leave room service!

Stay in general was ok. Quiet and overall cleanliness seemed good. But we ordered room service which took an hour for just a salad and fish n chips. When it can it was cold, the chips were soggy and the fish wasn’t cooked properly £57 for the two meals and one drink!!!!. The trays were then left outside our room all night until we checked out which shouldn’t really happen for a small hotel. Breakfast however, was surprisingly good in terms of options with lovely tea selection.

Hard bed

The hardest bed ever!! I ache all over. Duvet didn't fit the bed so made it impossible for 2 people to be covered at the same time. Took 3 visits to reception to gain entry into the room due to faulty card. Room was very basic. The hotel lacked any atmosphere at all. Corridors needed hoovering.
