We enjoyed a great stay at Elderbrooke House, beeing well cared for by Cody and Ben, and greeted by their beautifull dog Maia. The four of us had the Robin suite, a large and luxurious room with a bathroom almost the same size. The kids had their own room, also nice. Attentive and caring, we had the best service imaginable. Dinner reservations at local place was made well in advance. Breakfast was easily the best we had on our week long journey in England. We ordered from the menu Full english, Eggs Benedict and there was also a small continental buffet with carefully selected local produce, Elderbrooke House has just recently started offering accomdation at this local village pub. Lovely place, still in the making with owners that have big plans. We arrived by bus(49
Swindon - Trowbridge), which unfortuneatly is only once every hour( every two on Sundays). We visited the Avebury Stones and Avebury Manor, highly recommended. We would love to come back for a longer stay.
