Booked 4 rooms one of the rooms had to change as it was dirty. Loads of people taking drugs outside the hotel.

Hotel room are now old and dated, had to move rooms tree time. One mattress was so bad woke up the next day with back pain. Second room the electric sockets stopped working. Stuff were very acomodating and professional. Hotel rooms need upgrading and dirty carpets need changing then I would definitely stay again

Cheap, and it feels it
Cheap and not particularly cheerful. Parking is now chargeable, that's new since my last visit (cheap, but it's still a pain). Lift was broken. Loo roll holder pretty much fell off the wall. Bed too soft, pillows awful, room too warm. It was clean and the staff were friendly, but the only things this hotel has going for it are location and price.

Ok for one night.
I had three specific requirements. Parking, a lift and evening dining facilities. I booked a room on this basis. However, i got the parking which you have to pay for. The lift was not working nor was the dining room open. The room was comfortable and warm. The bath was very small. However, I do not think the small heater would be sufficient in colder weather. I am unlikely to stay here again.

Carpets was dirty lots of stains and I moved twice! Both rooms the carpets had lots of stains. The first night my room was cold the thermostat was not working and my friends one was broken. My other friends room was also broken.

Really poor. Gone downhill.
This hotel has really gone downhill. Ok. It is and always has been a budget hotel. But it has gone to the dogs. Tired throughout. Dirty carpets everywhere. Towels with suspicious brown stains, if you know what I mean. The room smelled musty. Even the replacement room they offered smelled just as bad. Not that I watch it too much, but I couldn't get the TV to show, well, TV. Two changes since my last stay. They now charge for the car park. Ridiculous! And they no longer service rooms if you are staying for a few days. You have to ask at reception before 9.30 to get anything refreshed. I asked twice - got ignored both times - nothing was done. Staff at front desk appeared untrained in basic customer service. Really poor all round.

They have just introduced pay to park your vehicle when before it was free, so you have to add that on to your booking price!

It was ok. Needs a bit of an uplift but will stay there again if the price is right. Didn’t like the fact had to pay for parking .
