Good value for money

Room was comfortable, some of the furniture is looking a bit tired and the bathroom could do with updating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good, being able to order breakfast to our room was a lovely bonus!

Booked my stay here as we had a weekend pass for Alton towers. Very pleased with the distance to and from Alton towers, spacious room, really friendly staff, and food was great. Will definitely book here again if we are ever in the area.

The shower was broken, the bed had springs sticking in my back, but the staff were great and did everything they could to sort it out and move me to a different room

It’s ok

The room is very basic, which I completely expected. Although the room itself was so hot, the staff were amazing but the fan they bought us was a heater so it did very little. Plugs were sparking in the room, bed is very uncomfortable so I didn’t get any sleep. The sink blocks every time you use it

Worst rooms ever.

The rooms were absolutely disgusting with Parts hanging off. Leaking toilet mould all around the bath pillows have been used about 1 million times. The mattress was like sleeping on the floor and smell very unpleasant. Also, the toilet flooded the bathroom

Clean bedding and towels, bed was pretty comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Also a plus having the pub restaurant right next door which is well priced and food was good however pub felt like it could do with a good clean (sticky tables etc) Furniture in rooms has seen better days but perfectly functional and a decent size samsung tv which was nice plus free WiFi.

The hotel was close to the main road and so very easy to find. Check-in was simple and the room was at the end of a corridor and therefore very quiet. I did find that the hot tap was running and I couldn't turn it off properly. The cold tap was pretty stiff as well. When I mentioned this, I was told that it would be looked at, but the problem was not resolved. Another slight issue I had was the lack of an armchair. There were two beds in the room, so space was limited in any case, but I did feel it mattered. Otherwise, fine. Car parking space was ample- could someone please clean up the litter at some point- and the food in the restaurant was very good quality.

On arrival the service from reception was excellent all staff were friendly and polite. Food was fantastic room was exceptional clean. So good we stayed an extra night
