We found our bed had bed bugs on our second night. A handful of adult bugs full of blood.
En-suite (cupboard with a toilet and shower) was tiny, and water pressure was awful.
Location was good, but I'm still itching from the thought of the bugs. 1*

Great location
Great location only minutes from the town. Sea view room had great view of the harbour.
Quite good. Probably as good as could be expected.
Little limited on space but the communal kitchen was a bonus.
Great views and pretty quiet. And very convenient.
No real complaints.
My stay at the hotel in St. Ives left much to be desired. The heating seemed to have a mind of its own, working sporadically and leaving me shivering on several occasions. Shockingly, there was no hot water in the wash basin, a basic expectation one would have from any accommodation.
The reality of the room size was a stark contrast to the spacious images showcased on the website. The room and toilet were cramped, making it a challenge to move around comfortably. This discrepancy between expectation and reality was disappointing.
Considering these shortcomings, I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort for those with no other options in St. Ives. The inconveniences experienced during my stay overshadowed any potential positives, leaving me with a less-than-pleasant impression of the accommodation.
Great place, perfect location only thing that let it down was bath plug not working and water ran cold or scalding hot, I didn’t have this issue last time I stayed despite reporting it was not resolved, hoping sorted for next guests. A real shame as this was the only issue, everything else was spot on
Lovely views. A pity the bed wasn’t bigger.
The bins could have been covered like other properties. Not nice looking at these.
Lovely kitchen and loads of facilities.
Would stay again( with a 5’ bed)
The room wasn’t cleaned as it should be, the mattresses weren’t good and the stairs are very narrow which could be a bit dangerous.
The kitchen was well equipped and cleaned.
The property is just a short walk from the town centre and the carpark is 10min away.

Lots of other peoples hairs in the bath room, in the bed and on the pillows. The bed had a horrible odour, of sweat or dog, soaked into the mattress. I am sure the sheets had been changed but there was no avoiding the smell, which emanated through the room when windows were closed. Reminded me of a stuffy locker room after a teenage rugby game. Hotel had its conveniences and was in a good location, but the smell of the bed made the stay a waste of our one treasured weekend away
The property was spotless and not far from the train station.
Only stayed 2 nights and did not need to use the kitchen..but it was very clean and had all you would need to cook meals as well as a fridge and dishwasher.
The best view in the whole of St Ives. The rooms were very clean and had all mod-cons. There is a shared kitchen on site and access to washing facilities and cooking.
Clean pleasant accomodation. Excellent ahared kitchen facility. Room quiet and good for 4 night stay. No chair or desk in bedroom but not an issue for me as I was out most of the day and evening. Short walk into the centre of St Ives. I would stay again here.
Liked the view, close enough to the town to walk.
Did not like the steep stairs, bed was not comfortable, parking was very difficult, steep slopes to carry baggage to the room. Had to navigate sloping roof in the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Bumped heads a few times.
