no hot tub in the spa

There wasn't a hot tub in the spa which we missed. we like to go somewhere and be able to hang out and relax int eh warm but there was nowhere outside of the sauna and steam room so we didn't spend as much time there as we wanted. the room was noisy and you could hear people over head - we didn't appreciate the hoover being started at 7.45am on a sunday morning -all in all not the relaxing experience we were hoping for. All the staff were nice and the food in the bar area was great,

Beautiful place to stay. Only downside was some very unusual fried eggs. Uncooked whites and uncooked yolks with a rubbery top!

Its not for solo travel and the receptionist was great. The waitress are not nice and made me felt uncomfortable. I just wouldn't go back on my own. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was ok. I enjoyed the spa they where friendly and did the massage very good i was relaxed after. The rooms need to check before guess check in, mine wasn't as clean. Hair was on bed and dusty on most of the furniture. It wasn't far from the beach and i love that.

The menu in the bar area was limited to Tapas or Pizza. However, after a little discussion with the bar staff, they provide us with the main restaurant menu and had the food we chose served to us in the bar. This was an excellent compromise and fantastic customer service

I have to say that all the staff at the cornwall were beyond reproach, they were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, reception on first check in, the bar, restaurant and housekeeping all deserve high praise, have stayed before at The Cornwall and would stay again

Amazing property, really nice spa area with pool, steam room and sauna showers. Room was really spacious, massive toilet and toiletries provided. Robes are also provided, alongside some water bottles in the fridge. Big parking for cars

Our superior room was very clean, spacious and lovely . Swimming pool and spa area great. The restaurant let us down on our wedding anniversary with an awful vegetarian meal . Actually there aren’t any veggie meals , only vegan. I had to send mine back as it wasn’t cooked properly and it wasn’t pleasant . The situation was not handled at all well by the staff. However we enjoyed our stay overall - just won’t be dining there again !
