Very good hotel for staying in Sheffield. Staff are friendly, rooms are comfy and there is a good spread at breakfast. Pool and gym facilities good quality and clean. Only downside is that lunch & dinner options are on the expensive side

Booked through hotels.com however was told it went through Expedia and got messed up.didnt give me correct room.also fire alarm went of at 4 am obviously not hotel fault but no order.didnt know what was going on.

We had a very comfortable stay here. While parts of the property were a little dated, it is currently being refurbished. The staff were fantastic / very helpful and friendly. I particularly want to mention the team in the restaurant in the evenings - really great! The car park was easy to access and not over full.

My husband and I are regulars at this hotel, but on this occasion, we introduced it to our friends for a joint stay. We were so pleased they felt the same! It’s situated in a great location- it feels like another world away from the city with its tranquil quayside and narrow boats but it’s still a walkable distance away. We were aware of renovations going on but there was very little sign of them over the weekend. The rooms were great with a decking/ balcony and garden table with chairs overlooking the quay. A fridge in the room would have been an added bonus but we managed ok. We utilised the gym and swimming pool to the max- there was some great equipment on offer and helpful staff. We are locally ( True Loves) on the quayside for pizza, which always has a home from home vibe. However, we had breakfast at the hotel, which was great value for money. It catered for vegans, vegetarians and the meat eaters in our party, with plenty of choice. The staff were attentive and the view was wonderful. We will definitely be returning.
