The accommodation was well suited to our needs and provided enough space for 2 adults with two kids to cook, eat and rest in between trips to the various island spots. It has a well equipped kitchen (no staple foods such as salt, sugar etc. so bring your own), radio, TV and microwave. There is a green space at the front, so the kids got to kick the ball around while we were getting our stuff ready for the day, which was handy. Liza was very helpful with letting us check in a bit earlier and extend the check out until 12, so we did not have to rush (we left by 10.30, but it was nice to know we can take our time). There was a welcome bottle of Champers and a card with her details waiting for us, which was nice and made us feel welcome. The visitors book has some handy tips by other visitors about places to eat etc. It was very quiet, although I imagine it must be busier during the summer months. We didn't have a car but there is a no. 8 bus stop about 5-7 min. away (also servicing the Island Coaster bus for the trip along the coast to the Needles) and it took us about 35 min to walk there from the Sundown pier along the coast. We bought a family bus ticket for 48 hours, which cost £35 and it was a great value, as it allows rides on all the island buses, including Downs Breezer, Island Coaster and all the open top buses, as well as the regular bus routes, so we got to see a lot in our three days on the IOW. It was our first visit to the island and we enjoyed it very much, will definitely be back! Thank you!
