Pleasant hotel

Very pleasant stay. Had a signature room which had a refurbished bathroom. Couple of minor maintenance issues need attention but otherwise very comfortable. Food was good and on the whole the staff efficient and friendly.

Fabulous stay! Staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was super comfortable, the shower was great and breakfast was amazing - what more can you ask for a one night stay?

Great. Would wholeheartedly recommend

Excellent friendly lovely bed, and I’m very picky about beds not too hard, most hotels have mattress too hard, this one was med firm and very comfortable. Breakfast was waitress service. Individual French press for coffee and a good northern style grilled breakfast with good poached egg.

A 3 night stay at the Belmont Hotel. Sale.

Our room had a very comfortable bed, and everything in the room was very clean. There was sparkling water, coffee, tea and biscuits available in the room each day of our stay. The hotel itself is well appointed, and close to public transport links. For guests arriving in their own car there is a private car park within the hotel grounds. The hotel staff there are very helpful and personable. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at the Belmont hotel.

Great place to stay

We regularly stay here when visiting family. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and approachable, children are welcomed and accommodated, the range of food and drinks is good and in the warmer months there is a lovely outside seating/dining area. Very good value for money and we regularly return and would recommend.

The hotel was nice enough and the staff were very pleasant but we didn’t think the food at dinner was worth the price paid. We both had eggs Benedict for breakfast and I’m sorry to say that the “soft boiled” eggs were hard boiled and both dishes looked and tasted as if they had been sitting under a hot food lamp for too long. I’m sorry to say that we won’t be rushing back here.
