The Headmasters House

Escape to a hideaway… this pretty brick built two bedroom property is perfect. The Headmaster’s House is finished to a very high standard and is close to the popular Coastal town of Southwold.
Step inside and the property is beautifully furnished throughout with much attention to detail. This tardis like house offers versatile accommodation with plenty of room for 4. The open plan living room is cosy and light with a couple of soft sofas to relax on and watch the Smart TV. The well equipped kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher and washing machine and everything you need to cook up your favourite dishes. There’s a ground floor bedroom and shower room and a master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor offering flexible living for two couples or a family.
Reydon is a pretty village 1 mile north-west of Southwold and 2.5 miles south-east of Wangford so there are plenty of amenities just a short drive away. You can in fact walk to the pretty beach huts along Southwold beach in just 20 minutes. The perfect excuse to stop off for a coffee and cake and indulge in a little retail therapy. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.
Headmaster’s House is a great option for a family or two couples looking to escape to the Suffolk Coast - highly recommended and excellent value. Our advice? Book early!

Cleanliness

Holiday in Reydon
The area was much more urban than we had anticipated from your brochure, with no rural views at all. The garden facilities were rather disappointing, with no secluded seating area. The dish washer drain was blocked, resulting in dirty dishes, and we had to clean out the filter before we used it again, something we think should have been undertaken by the cleaners. Whilst we found a n outside clothes line, their did not appear to be any location point to connect the line to. We would not feel comfortable about recommending this property

Quirky little place in quiet location
A lovely little cottage away from the crowds. 20 min walk into Southwold, as per the description before we booked. Felt like the place could do with a bit of a declutter, as there just seemed too many things around, chipped mugs and plates. Having so many utensils must also make it impossible to ensure everything is clean each time someone new visits. However, on the whole it’s a lovely, clean cottage in a quiet location, 20mins from the sea. We had a lovely 4 days, without having to move the car once from the time we arrived to the time we left.
