Great hotel with an attached restaurant at reasonable prices My Only 2 issues were there was nobody at the hotel reception just a phone number nobody answered Asked to have my room cleaned and it didn't get done so had to ask for more toilet roll and towels

I will return again and again

I return to this hotel again and again. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The car park accessible. The rooms are comfortable and the area is very quiet.

Won't be going back.

Reception un manned. Phone number and wait, in my case 15 minutes. Room with view of carpark, was extremely hot with one restricted opening window and no fan provided. Restaurant. After placing my order, and waiting 1 hr 10 minutes, I complained and was told they'd made a mistake and my order was missed. When it did eventually arrive, the food was overcooked and dry. My bill was refunded after compaining again.

Large spacious clean and comfortable room compared to contemporary companies such as Travelodge & Premier Inn Meadow Farm was very good value for money. My evening meal and breakfast weren't bad either

The hotel has a rural setting but within 3 minutes drive if a nearby retail park. Overnight the accomodation is quiet. The Marston's inn on the same site is located a far enough distance not to affect,any disturbance. The gardens of the inn are very spacious and lovely for outside drink or dine on a Summer's day or night. There is also a room delivery if you wish to order food & eat in your room. I will definitely stay again whenever I visit the area again

Good but not as good as previously

We have stayed here several times in the past and it would have scored excellent. On this stay I think they were a bit short staffed. The staff were very friendly but we had only one set of towels in our room on arrival (rapidly amended), the room was not tidied during the day nor the coffee sachets used replaced, and tables were not rapidly cleared and cleaned on the first day.

EXTREMELY CLEAN. FOOD GOOD QUALITY AND VERY REASONABLE. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. BREAKFAST A LITTLE HAPHAZARD BUT THEN ONLY ONE LADY SERVING. HANDY FOR MANY PLACES TO VISIT.

Ideally placed country-style pub with easy, safe parking, great beer garden, large menu choices, great food and beer, lovely friendly staff, well presented rooms. Well done everybody.

While we liked the location, easy parking, surrounding area, and that breakfast was provided (at a cost), our ground floor room was terrible. One set of towels for 2 people (requested second set but it never materialized), dark, no ventilation, could easily hear the TV next door, plus the room had a minor moth infestation and a few unwelcome spiders in the corners. We gave the hotel a second try but we won't be back.
