Rooms are tired and quite frankly, dirty. The carpets to the rooms are actually sticky, bathrooms have paint peeling and the rooms on the ground floor smell of damp. The restaurant is good but the menu is limited. They have one delivery on a Thursday so if you follow a busy weekend it’s a bit pot luck. One positive was that the beds are comfy and it is relatively cheap. Who is giving 10/10 reviews? They clearly don’t stay away often. 4 stars hotel, maybe in 1980.

Just off motorway so ideal for stop off during long journey. Room was nice, comfy and quiet. Service station next door was handy, as was electric car charge point.
