Ok but dated

Average hotel, a little dated, definitely showing signs of re vamp being needed. Restaurant food good but expensive. Room ok but bathroom needed a degree of elbow grease not seen recently. Breakfast generally cold and greasy, to the point where on our last morning we stuck to cereal and toast. Highly unlikely to return.

What an awful hotel

We booked this hotel as a last minute overnight trip during a long roadtrip back from Scotland. The family room was just big enough to get three of us in. The beds were comfy enough. The only lighting was a couple of spotlights by the door and a lamp at the desk so it was very dark. The window didn't open. The bathroom was tiny, not ideal for helping children to wash. The toilet flush was broken, the sink plug was broken, and I had to run the shower to get warm water to come through to the sink tap as after running it for several minutes it was still cold. The only redeeming quality for this hotel was the free parking and breakfast was fairly decent.

Breakfast a tad expensive. Be careful not to end up in a police compound as sat nav postcode got confused. It's a big roundabout with lots of exits off before hotel which is behind a petrol station. Staff lovely. Room beautiful very comfortable chairs one a recliner. Big very big. But slept very well. Would recommend value for money
