Very close to main attractions, so location great. Old property so always some issues. Room good. Property dated. Not teally a boutique hotel in how phrase normally used. Breakfast good. No dining despite saying bistro on door. Location though excellent for activities

Great location. Close to shopping, restaurants, ferry and many sites. Staff was very friendly. Included breakfast was plentiful and very good. Rooms clean but slightly dated.

Building appears to be an historical site so can’t really suggest renovations. Close to historic docklands and rail. Friendly and helpful staff.

Enjoyed this hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located across from the harbor and the train station. The free breakfast was very nice. My room was a little quirky, but that's what I enjoy about older, independent hotels. If you're a light sleeper you will hear the trains, but there was a portable fan in the room for "white noise" that helped me sleep.

Perfect location

At check in and throughout our stay we were made to feel very welcome. There is a small bar which stayed open for our group each evening. Thank you! Good breakfast with a perfect poached egg! Perfect location with a locked car park.

Unbeatable location with a wonderful staff who catered to every whim. Thank you David, Jeremy and John! And the kind ladies who kept our room spotless. The room is small, but comfortable. Only space for one chair, alas, plus a window seat. As a late to bed, late to rise person, David ensured a hearty breakfast each day delivered to me at my convenience. Lovely thoughts and memories of the Ship Leonard!

Olden day port building with tastful modern decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed an old world traditional breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Great location exceptional value for money & clean

Always good to get an upgrade on arrival especially after an emotional journey. Free parking on site is such a bonus. Amazing location welcoming friendly staff but also the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast also included and cooked to order. Only downside was building works at the station across the road was a little loud as we had the window open overnight as the weather was warm. That should be finished soon and there’s a fan if you want to shut the window.
