I choice this place as the venue for a one night stopover as I had an exam in Peterborough the next morning. The room I was in (139) was next to a pipe that drip, drip, drip, drip dripped until I felt I was going insane. Anyway, I got up to sleep in my car as I couldn’t take anymore at 01:30. Thankfully they nice fella on reception gave me a different room but I was wide awake and wasn’t able to get back asleep. Awful night. But, that aside it was a nice hotel with nice staff. They really need to fix that issue.

Enjoyable stay. Place is clean. Need to make sure the tv and cable are plugged in in the room tho so guest doesn't have to move furniture to do it. Only place to plug in laptop when in the bed is behind the bed. Again, guest has to move the bed to use the plug. Need to add a tip facility to the card machine if you eat in the restaurant as nobody is carrying cash anymore to leave a tip for the staff that way.

Great hotel and spa

Our trip to Orton Hall was a surprise birthday treat for my fianceè. The hotel and spa were both Great, the majority of the staff were very helpful to us and the food was great too. I can honestly say that we will be booking here again

Totally relaxing hotel

Pros: The facilities
Cons: Directions to the hotel restaurant. Quite a long walk through the expansive building to get to the first sight of the restuarant.
Location: Not applicable, just stayed in the hotel.
Great hotel with very helpful staff. Sauna, stema room and pool a little worn, but very clean, very relaxing. No time pressures like some hotels and a breakfast that was massive (just as I prefer).

Loved it!!

We had 2 executive suites and they were lovely. Really spaceous, clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. We had facials in the spa which were great and good value (cheaper than quoted online if your a hotel guest) the spa pool facilities were excellent! Only criticism we had is the breakfast staff on day two were rude and miserable, but everyone else was so friendly.

Great hotel except for the ramblewood inn, ran out of steak, chicken and a special at 7pm on a Saturday night!
