We loved how attentive the staff were to us and our kids and the GM was down to earth, he spend sometime talking to our kids. That is hospitality at its best. Overall we had a wonderful stay. I’ll book again and I hope to get an upgrade next time :-). much love the Graham’s.

Good hotel quiet and discrete relaxed atmosphere good choice of food bar staff and restaurant personnel very amiable Room comfortable with all what you need for your stay. The corridor needs a refurb colours a bit shabby and dated, room deco fine though

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel I was a little dubious about staying there but after staying at Mercure hotels previously I hoped for a pleasant stay. And it was! From friendly staff to a great big room, good snack/dinner menu and pool with steam/sauna. what more could a traveller ask for. Niggling complaint there is no lift and with a hammy knee lugging a heavy suitcase up stairs is no joke.

It's a budget hotel.

Arrived at reception to check-in, to be told there was no booking for me on their system. Showed them my email booking and they luckily had availability. Room was perfectly acceptable, except a little tired - especially the bathroom. A comfortable bed, decent TV, blackout blinds all helped though. Main issue was with the temperature - during the night it became far too warm! I would use again, as I said, it's a budget hotel.
