Decent stay for the price

It was rather difficult to find the car park… not well sign posted at all! If you are not local, you really need to find out where the entrance of this Cleveland car park is, before arriving. Once parked, it’s rather convenient, just take an elevator down to reception. Basic amenities, but staff are very friendly and helpful.

Such a shame about the noise

This could have been so much better if the windows in room 118 were double glazed better. From the time we got there until early hours of the morning all we could hear was thud this of awful music . Spoilt what could have been a lovely stay as room was good and comfortable, food good and staff friendly.

My main issues with the property were surrounding the bed. It was a quick stay stopover for us on our way home. On 1st inspection the room was fine so we went out fir food and drinks and got back in around 10.45. The bed itself was so soft we couldnt actually sleep in it, my back was agony after a couple of hours. On waking up i also found a blood stain at the bottom of the sheet that definitely wasnt mine. We actually packed up at 4am and checked out by 4.30 so paid for 1 nights stay that we used for about 5 hours.

The most uncomfortable sofa bed I’ve had the misfortune of sleeping on. The back of it also looked like it had some stains on it. On the plus side, really nice breakfast.

Hotel was an older property that backed up to a dilapidated indoor shopping center. Very outdated and in serious need of modernization. Breakfast was palatable but nothing too exciting. Missing many amenities that Americans are used to having in the Holiday Inn hotels.
