This hotel is the Mary Poppins of hotels. Practically perfect in every way! Beautifully styled, everything you need in the room. Super comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries. Proper hairdryer not one attached to the wall! Generous continental breakfast left in the room. A great place for a night or two. You let yourself in with a code so you don’t see anyone. However, quick response to messages on the phone.

Great location for Marlborough

We had our room upgraded due to a technical issue with the room we'd booked. Very spacious basement room. Comfortable bed. We loved the continental style in-room breakfast. Such a great idea. Nice to have both a kettle and Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Very convenient location for a Marlborough. We found a place to park for free further up the hill. Lighting very dim in the bathroom. We understand there had been a flood from the bath a few weeks previously, which meant the floor lights had stopped working. Could do with some additional lighting or repair. Friendly housekeeping team.

Read the small print, wherever that is!?

This is not a hotel, it’s a self service room with no staff. My room was very damp, the bathroom has no ventilation or extraction so smelled bad. It was difficult to get the key pad to work and there were no light switches. The electrical supply to the room was switched in via two main switches above the door. The front of the property was very unkempt and unappealing. Breakfast was left in the room. There is no parking. The bed was comfortable but small. More specific information needs to be provided and a more fair and reasonable description of the room and services.

Amazing place. Stayed in room 2 . Bathroom was super . Excellent overall but very noisy kids next door. Couldnt sleep then when i finally managed to closes my eyes they started screaming and shoiting in the corridor !!! Shame .

Fantastic for the price. Clean, well maintained and organised. No cooked breakfast but in the room was a fridge with fresh fruit salad, superb fresh yogurt with fruit and granola all in pre prepared portions, fresh milk and orange juice. Will use again,

Kingsbury no7 & no8 Excellent quirky hotel

If you are looking for something different room 7 has a very quirky bathroom. The breakfast was a good choice of cereal, over night oats and fruit pots with milk and orange juice supplied. It is within walking distance to Marlborough town centre so ideal for a meal and drinks.

Property was bang on what we wanted. Close to the town centre and was amazing. Room and the Continental breakfast was nice but the shower was amazing! Definitely go back again. Great place!

A stay that exceeded expectations

The text we were sent was very informative as to how to get in and where to park. The room was much more plush than we had expected. The provisions laid on as the included breakfast were much more impressive than we had expected and the staff in the connected pub/eatery were very welcoming and friendly.

We selected this room based on it containing a gold bath n therefore paid more money. The bath contained a note saying it was only a feature and if we used the bath we would be charged a fee for any water dripping below! Very disappointed about this! Spoilt the evening

Had I known there was no parking and to my mind a very odd way of providing breakfast I would have booked elsewhere. That said the room was clean and convenient for my requirements although I would have preferred a softer mattress. Additionally, as we had to eat breakfast in the room and there were two of us, a second chair is essential.

Simply stunning. Very comfy bed and a gorgeous deep bath. Excellent overnight oats in the fridge and a fantastic selection of tea and coffee. Quirky restaurant underneath with very friendly staff who serve a mean cocktail or three lol
