Good location and friendly and helpful staff. The room was a bit run down and was very warm with no air con. We were told we could have requested it when booking but how were we to know that? The hotel card terminal would not accept my credit card, although it worked everywhere else and was an accepted card. This was an annoyance.

Very friendly staff, good restaurant, good bar, comfortable rooms but a little noisy due to wooden stairs and traffic.

Lovely cosy stay in the New Forest. Had room at back of hotel and very quiet, although could hear people in the next room at night at times. Food good. Would definitely stay again.
