I’ve stayed there on two occasions.A beautiful building and The rooms are spacious. I was especially impressed by the large comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast has some of the best bacon that I’ve eaten. All in all a hotel that I would highly recommend. It’s also better value than a chain hotel. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful staff

We had a wonderful stay at Statham Lodge. Staff super attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Facilities and decor were very nice. Bed was super comfortable. Thank you.

Home from Home

I would like to say a big thank you for a lovely stay.As soon as you enter the hotel you recieve a warm welcome.All the staff are approachable, friendly and are very helpful. The rooms are beautiful decorated and have a homely feel. I would definitely recommend Stratham hotel to friends and family

Lovely old propert with lots of free parking close to m6. Everything you'd need in the rooms but a little cold overnight..no facitity to adjust temperature in the room although the shower/ hot water was excellent. .I only ate breakfast at the hotel but a large choice cooked to order & served by lovely ladies during week days. I will definately return as I have stayed previously over the last 20 years.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Statham Lodge. The room was clean with comfortable bed and good shower. However it did seem that if you came for a later breakfast the buffet options were limited.

Beautiful hotel and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. My room was decorated to a high standard and even provided an iron and ironing board. The only thing that was missing was a hairdryer. I have short hair so it wasn’t a problem for me. I’m sure they would provide one at reception.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were shown around the hotel by a lovely lady who told us the history of the building which was a nice touch. Our meal in the hotel was fabulous and we will definitely be staying there again when we are next in the area.

Spacious traditional hotel handy for M6

Spacious traditional hotel handy for M6 motorway. Rooms comfortable and clean with comfy bed and bathroom with bath and shower. Grounds looked lovely but the weather was not kind enough to allow us to explore them.Excellent breakfast cooked to order, plus usual selection of cereals, juice yogurt & fruit on a cold buffet. Didn’t eat dinner as close enough to centre of Lymm to take advantage of the restaurants and pubs in the lively village centre. Would highly recommend for a short stay if in the area.

Impressive appearance on arrival. Pleasant staff. A bit surprised to be kept hanging around when we arrived 10mins before check in, difficult to believe the room was not ready. Biggest problem was lack of heating in the room amplified by lack of double glazing both on arrival and overnight.
