I have stayed in this hotel a number of times now and not once has there been any problems. Absolutely brilliant, clean, tidy and friendly staff. I cannot fault.it.
Really nice comfortable hotel. The room was spacious with everything you need, as was the bathroom. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. Quiet location with a lovely terrace. I would definitely stay again.
An amazing find, the staff are exceptional, Friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The accommodation its self was above expected. We had a very clean, modern, spacious, comfortable room.
Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and freshly cooked.
Dinner was great and reasonably priced. The live music was such a bonus.
I would stay here again if the opportunity arises and recommend to anyone.

The walls are a bit thin so you get to hear everything that is happening next door.
Lovely place to stay. Only there one night but felt very welcome by all staff. Rooms lovely with everything you need. We had an evening meal which was excellent as was breakfast. Would stay here again if we were in the area and would recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The building is stunning, the garden is very well cared for. The hotel interior is gorgeous and very well put together. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. We slept well and the shower was lovely. We struggled to find any faults! The kettle could have done with a descale, but that was all.
The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Having explained that I have Crohn’s disease, they were extremely accommodating of my dietary requirements.
I very much hope to return again in future.

Stayed a1 night as visiting freinds nearby.
Service upon arrival was.very good and a freindly welcome. Room allocation was not what I expected as it was an accessible room for diabled people and the wetroom shower was a low removable spray head not really usable for a decent shower. The decor was tired and a room especially the wetroom had a lot of wear and tear. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Not worth the money paid for the room due to the resons above. but adequate for a night. We couldn't be moved as the hotel was fully booked.
We ate in the bar and the food was lovely, prices good for the amount you got. nice friendly atmosphere in there and nicley laid out so you could chat to other guests. Great tthat dogs are welcome.
Again breakfast was lovely food and lots of choices. Even a sausage for dogs!
The staff were ready helpful allowing us to stay a little later than check our time as we were not quite ready.
Overall a good stay, just some work required on redecoration and updating the room facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would stay again as location is good but maybe book earlier for a better choice of rooms.
Love this hotel, the staff are all very friendly the breakfast is great with a good choice of food. We will definitely be staying here again as we love Lowestoft beach and the surrounding areas, Southwold is only a few miles away 😁
Lovely hotel in quiet village. Friendly staff, especially at breakfast ‘multi-task Mandy’ was very cheerful and helpful. Our room was in a new purpose built annex which was attached to the function room. We were dismayed to find out there were schools proms on both nights of our stay but as it turned out noise didn’t bother us. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Plenty of parking. Would recommend.
