Di and staff at huckleberry couldn’t be more accommodating especially with our pooch Albie! They treated him like a king and gave him his very own burger :) The food was absolutely delicious my partner loved the brisket and I loved the dirty Mac and cheese! We loved our desserts too! Such a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay, a little noisy on the front but I’m a light sleeper my partner slept through but albie was far too nosey and was wondering what everything was haha! All in all fab stay but Di and her team definitely make it thank you :)

We had a great time, the bedroom & bathroom is spacious and has very comfortable bed. We though here would be some noise from both the road and the pub below, but very happy to say we couldn't hear either. We recommend you have a meal in the pub, the food was wonderful & the team effort is amazing. We will certainly be visiting again.

Not a hotel really. Just rooms above a pub / restaurant. Staff were very nice, although positioned in a quiet part of town there was not a lot of customers and they closed at 10.30. So a late drink was out of the question even if you could afford it. £5.50 for a bottle of cider and £8.75 for a large gin and tonic! No breakfast available as they don’t open until noon.

Good hotel close to amenities

Pros: Location

Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Location: Close to shopping centre, theatre and river.

Bed comfortable, food good, friendly and polite staff.
