Excellent service, location, and value for money

Delightful independent place to stay very close to the centre of town. Warmly welcomed on arrival, nice room. Selection of local ales at the bar, and a full dinner menu. Price was very fair especially with breakfast included.

Broadway Hotel is very handy to Letchworth town centre. Although old everything works well including the classic lift!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did have trouble with the shower running cold then very very hot. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Disabled shower

The hotel is very good indeed. This was my second stay and I plan to stay again in September. However, when I first stayed I had a room with a walk in shower rather than a bath. On accessing my room this time, I found it only had a bath with a shower. My partner is disabled and although ambulant, cannot access a bath. I asked about changing the room but was told only single rooms have the shower only. This is rather disconcerting as usually disabled people have a partner/carer with them which means a double room would be required. We had to keep the double room and my partner could only have a wash down rather than a full shower.

The location is excellent, staff friendly and cooperative, ask of a large room as their are some very small. Otherwise another great stay at the Broadway.

An old hostelry. Room was clean. A few minor things that need sorting such as the chain on the door and one tap. Quiet and central. The lift ill take your cases but I would avoid otherwise.

A two star stay at a four star price.

Had to walk through a restaurant full of diiners to reception and back again to access the accommodation. Got to our room to find it had not been servied and dirty linen was on the floor. Back through the dinner's and was upgraded to a family room. No outlet for the kettle, had to move and unplugthe tv. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were hard and the room above the restaurant was very noisy.
