Would totally recommend this hotel for a stay in Leicester, especially if you are going to de montfort hall place is perfect

I certainly wasn't treated like a VIP. There were two people behind the reception desk. One was coughing all over the place and complaining that she was ill. Her colleague was barely interested in receiving me and did the barest minimum and then carried on her conversation with the coughing one. There was no mention of any VIP 'perks'. I was given a gloomy little room with no bath, unlike the photos on their website. Fortunately I was only there for one night and spent the evening elsewhere.

We really liked the hotel which ideally situated next to New Walk which gave a pleasant walk into the town centre in 10 minutes. We had a nice large well equipped room and an en-suite which had a very good shower ( which isn’t always the case). The breakfast was really good with a large choice of buffet or ‘to order’ items. If in Leicester again, I would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely time with friends. Visited for the rugby. Room was comfy, bathroom needed updating, breakfast was excellent and service from staff was friendly and efficient.

The room that I had this time was a bit noisy but I stayed on a Saturday night so some noise to be expected I suppose. Otherwise, some closer attention to detail in the room would’ve given the stay 5 stars.
