As always its the people that make the difference. The lovely lady on reception though she seem to be there 7x24 remembered guests and was efficient and so helpful with taxis, and when guests have lost their key card The young man behind the bar was kind and efficient and helped one of our less able in the party.

Enjoyable stay, concerned about getting there safe
Wonderful stay. Great views. Really comfortable and clean. Awesome breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff. Only niggle I have is actually getting to the hotel, if you arrive by foot you have to run the gauntlet of 3 lanes of traffic which is rather dangerous. A pedestrian crossing and footpath is in deaparate need for health and safety.

Good hotel with confusing parking arrangements.
A comfortable, conveniently located hotel. This Holiday Inn has friendly, helpful staff and my 5 day stay was problem free. The parking arrangements were a little confusing with the recommended parking (with associated discounts) being a short drive and 8 minute walk away along a relatively uneven footpath that crosses a main road. Confusingly however, there is a immediately adjacent car park (NCP) with significantly easier and straightforward access to the hotel.

Parking is a little expensive if you use the NCP next to the hotel but they do have a deal with a nearby carpark if you do not mind a walk. But head room only 6' 6" if you have a top box. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was also very comfortable.

Good location , currently in chaos with building work . But the biggest grime is the Parking . NCP carpark next door but the Hotel has no deal in place for their customers . One has to pay everytime tbey leave and re enter the carpark and the overnight charges are just too high . The recommended cheaper place to park is too far away . So Holiday Imn get your act together and have a deal in place with NCP so your customers are not getting ripped off. Tje Room rates are pretty high too . So stop Profiteering and give a reasonable prices.

Mix up room.
There was a mixup about room bookings. Someone tried to get in our room, we were told they were given the keys. My husband went to the reception to clear things up. Apparently there was a computer meltdown the other day, and we were not booked electronically but only on paper. Apologies were given and to compensate we were given free breakfast the next day. The manager was most apologetic and professional, ready to help and had a smile on her face.
