The grounds were beautiful, breakfast was amazing but the bar was expensive. The bed was comfortable but small.

Private dining set up just geared to large conferences. Only the bar available separately for meals. Thought I was staying at Hotel not at a Leicester university conference centre :( Free downloads mostly seemed to work but sometimes blocked completely when there was clearly enough network bandwidth. They need to be careful on this type of thing as it's a communication act violation to interfere with internet access by blocking things without informing people or alerting them first
A download of free Windows 10 software should not block. There is no
reason it should. However, things like watching online video subscription stuff will cause a download into a Windows specific directory cache. Not required in MacOS or Linux(ubunutu,etc).

It was a good hotel though appeared like more traditional hostel style
Room was very clean and well furnished
Breakfast was much better than Ibis or Travelogue
Parking was massive

Great stay. Room finished to good standard and breakfast was top drawer.
