The staff and reception were great and helpful... the only downside is that some of the other guests were making up lies and not mindingcthrir own budiness and upsetting my girlfriend eva... orher than that the hotel and staff are excellent... i spent most of my time in the gym working out.

This Hotel is definitely not cheap & the price we paid to stay should of reflected that. The hotel decor is strange but maybe thats they are trying to achieve. We stayed in a Garden Room,which was clean but had a damp smell. The bed was ok,shower ok. Having stayed for a friends wedding reception we had chosen breakfast,what a disaster. We were told to take any table that was made up,none were so we ended up clearing some it ourselves. Watching some of the staff who had been working the evening before were probably tired as no interest and that showed. Hardly any food out,it was a buffet style and it was not overly busy. We had to ask for clean plates as the ones sitting to be picked had a yellow type oil on them. We got asked 4 times what was our room number by the same lady. Pastries were minimal when they did appear,the fruit had seen better days. Overall the breakfast was just poor. Since we have stayed & chatted to our friends it turns out that quite a few people got refunds for the breakfast as a lot of complaints.

Nice hotel but needs updating in places.

Disappointing that pool was cold due to boiler issues, but pool area nice on the whole. Buffet breakfast could be better, cheap orange juice and butter spread. Hotel could do with refurbishing, tidying in some areas. Dining room very dated and not inviting. Staff very nice and helpful. Garden room OK but some small improvements could make it so much better.

One night stop over for work. The hotel was very good value for a decent double room and use of gym and nice pool area included. Gym is quite small and dated equipment, but sufficient, pool area is nice and very spacious. Didnt use the restaurant but used the bar for a drink and watch the football on a very large TV. Bar was very nice and looked like it had been renovated recently.

Very average outside accommodation. A basic chalet type block. Although they had attempted to upgrade the overall quality was low. The bed although adequate were by know means the quality required for a stay more then two nights. Poor quality mattress and very soft. No topper so will sleeping on an air bed. For a hotel the rooms did not stand out. I've stayed in better privately run B&Bs . The area was quiet as not in the main building but doesn't give good curb appeal as thebfron block paving is in need of some serious attention and the smoking bucket outside our door felt like I was in a 1980s buktin camp. All the bouchers and pictures on line look nice but don't be fooled. Generally a B&B would have been the better option. Extractor in the bathroom didn't work either so very steamy. Our room was the twin garden room. This was in a block of 6 chalet rooms.
