Booked a classic room, we were given a accessible room (wheelchair user), this wasnt suitable, the bathroom contained just a shabby wet room which had a very old curtain, the bathroom sink was below waist height. Reported to reception this was not suitable, they said they couldnt do anything but could upgrade only for an additional amount (convenient)

Great location lovely staff

This is the second time we have stayed but the first time we had breakfast the food was lovely only we would of preferred it if the tea and coffee were served to the table as we were backwards and forwards to the buffet I know this is a very small issue and slightly petty but it would of been nice staff fabulous will definitely stay again hotel spotless and we had a lovely big room we will return and use the spa thank you

Disappointing stay.

We were booked into a sea view which we didnt get. Was told we had a better bigger room instead. Had no hot water, reported and told we could shower in another room! Won't be back!

Stayed for 1 night before going to France. We were lucky to get upgraded. Only comment on the room was that we couldn’t get a cold shower but appreciate that’s not everyone’s requirement! We didn’t eat at the hotel because the lighting in the Coast restaurant was too bright and the lighting in the bar area was a bit dingy. It’s a shame these were unappealing because the rest of the hotel is nicely appointed. There are plenty of places to eat in easy walking distance of the hotel.

Good quality hotel

A good quality hotel. Only downside is if you book through a third party like Hotels.com, this hotel still puts a “holding payment” on your card which takes a long time to clear. Less of a problem if paying by credit card as it should clear before your statement date, but unfortunately I used a debit card and the “holding payment” took over a week to clear which restricted the use of my account.

Room was extremely cold and smelt of must when entering. Once we got heating on was better. Sofa was very tired and bathroom was very dated and stained. The bathroom was clean but due to age sink was brown, bath was brown stains and down toilet. They put blue cleaner in to hide it but once flushed you could see. We have stayed many times before and this was the most tired condition room yet.
