Worth it for the restaurant

I would, and will stay here again for the restaurant which is excellent. The hotel is ok. It is basic and functional, wifi is useless and sporadic. The breakfast is pretty good and staff are lovely.

Room for improvement

The hotel and rooms looked very different to the advert. The room was dated and had old carpets.. Towels were old and discoloured, we had to request for fluffy white towels. A bath tub is a no! no in this day and age.. I think it’s under some renovation because the 1st room had a stand alone shower, then we were moved as the key system jammed.. that 1st room was better with slight new carpets too. We were served cold hot chocolate and coffee beverages from the bar- very weird. Checkout reception staff was so unbelievably unfriendly, that attitude needs to change otherwise your business reputation will be tainted.

Very tired, broken light, heating off in November!

The hotel is tired looking. Arrived to a massive spider in the room, a broken bedside light and no heating. When I asked why the heating was not working the receptionist said that it was not on!! I stayed on 31st Oct and 1st Nov!!! All in all, felt like a hotel that was going bankrupt!

Easy access from the motorway.. very comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast. Lovely Italian restaurant next door. Would highly recommend.
