Room too hot and little fan in room which was already there was covered in dust. No hot water in the morning so had to have cold water showers

What a little gem. Plenty of parking. Easily accessible to the upper floors with a lift - it’s quite on old one but functional. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Huge thanks to the night bottle who filled my water bottle, and even added ice as it was a hot day, because I’d forgotten to fill it up when I checked out early. I had my evening meal there, and it was delicious. I didn’t sample the breakfast, as I had to be at my swim venue for 7am. I’d definitely like a longer stay another time. The room was very spacious with a bath and shower. They’d provided a fan , which was useful, as it was very warm when I stayed there.

A pertect stay.

I went with my husband for a 2 night stay to be close to a specific airfield. The position was excellent for this trip. The reason for the lower score for service was due to the way we were completely ignored when we first arrived to check in.Both the members of staff never looked up to acknowledge us and carried on doing what they were doing. After this encounter, all other interactions were good. All the other members of staff were delightful and very helpful.. Our room was lovely and clean and the bathroom was beautiful. Our evening meal was very well presented and tasty, and the breakfasts had good choices of cooked food with a well presented cold buffet. Parking was secure and easy to find and access. We would certainly stay here again.

Room on front off hotel on very busy noisy main road Most off the TV channels didn't work No walk in shower only in the bath type making access difficult for people without mobility problems Definitely not worth £125.00p a night

Great place for a night near the Wolds

Very helpful, welcoming, friendly staff. Free parking Great location Comfortable bed. Good bath and toiletries Only little negatives - No hot water for a shower when arrived (but plenty later in the evening) and TV remote battery flat

Excellent hotel

We had a room at the front of the hotel which overlooked a main road, as it was warm we wanted to leave the window open, but it was very noisy, from both the traffic and a nearby pub which played loud music till midnight. This apart i would throughly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.

Good room.

At check in we were told they had not received my requests, but the dinner was booked. The request for a walk in shower wasn't, even though it was on the confirmation receipt. No one at the desk, on two occasions, to report no hot water in the room in the evening. Restaurant service and food not worth the prices charged. Only good thing was the room and the bed. Very comfortable.

It took a while to check-in as there was only one staff member waiting on tables and fronting reception. Also, there was no hot water for a shower in the morning.
