You can't get a more convenient location for Gatwick airport. It's literally in the departure terminal.

Creaky bed & floor boards

We stayed here due to our glight landing after 2am. First impressions were marred by the front desk check in staff member, who said we were lucky to have a room as they thought we were a 'no show'. I told him that I had emailed stating our flight number, flight time & had received a reply saying this would be noted on my booking & not a problem checking in. He did not seem interested in this.....I had a copy of the email with me. Then when we reached our room we found the beds very creaky and everywhere you stepped in the area where the beds were we felt & heard creaking floor boards. Sorry but we won't stay again.

Oh What A Night…..not positive!!

The purpose of this one night visit was to facilitate an early morning check- in and departure from Gatwick North Terminal as we do not live close to the airport. Firstly, we accept the hotel is mid renovation of its public areas and this review does not make any comment as this was advertised pre-booking and informs guests with notices on arrival. Breakfast wasn’t taken owing to early departure. The location is very convenient for drop off at valet parking and accessing the North Terminal with short walk and bridge to departures. However, whilst the room was not facing the runway, all night at regular intervals empty service trolleys could be heard loudly being pushed down below the room making it impossible to get an undisturbed night. There came a point where we decided that trying to move room at that time of the night would have been a waste of time given the need to move luggage etc in the early hours to turn try and settle again elsewhere. The room appeared to be otherwise comfortable with signs of recent refurb but this was little consolation on not being able to sleep. Room number 227

This property was finishing up a total refurbishment when I stayed. I received a newly refurbished room, it was spacious and stylish. The staff was very accommodating and you can't beat leaving your hotel and being inside of the airport.

1. Can only be accessed via inside North Terminal. Taxi cannot drop off luggage, you've got to tote it oneself. 2. Key didn't work, desk manager thought it was ignorance, used his key and they'd given me an occupied room of a sleeping guest. I Felt horrible waking they'd been AWAKENED, manager didn't even apologize to them nor me. 3. Air conditioner didn't work. 4. Floors felt very flimsy and bowed when walked on and I'm not a heavy person. 5. Restaurant closed. 6. Very expensive for the accommodations. Only saving grace was they kept my meds refrigerated as there are none in the room.

The hotel is ONLY be accessed via the Airport inside North terminal. This is NOT clear either in the booking OR on signage. Room air conditioner not functioning! Not use error. Manager entered guest room of other sleeping guests, claiming it was my room and i didn't know how to operate the key. Glossy fiberglass shower floor so slick i almost slipped and caught my toes in the drain cover that came off! The entire stay was an unpleasant experience. One saving grace is desk clerk agreed to keep my meds in their freezer. 1 saving grace Restaurants and Bar under construction.

Fantastic location

Great hotel for stay before early morning flight. Perfect location right in airport. Was able to check in bags the night before so waking up and going straight to security was amazing.

Lovely hotel, was a bit noisy.

The hotel despite undergoing some renovations was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Only a couple of downsides. Our room was situated on the ground floor and next to some kind of drainage pipe. So all night we heard running water and the baggage handling vehicles driving around. Not the most restful nights sleep but didn't really expect too much considering we were at an airport. Overall definitely happy we used the hotel before our flight but would have loved a quieter room.

Hoodwinked by Hampton!!

When I booked, it said parking available….what they didn’t say was that the parking was £60 for one night….wasted my time….clear misrepresentation on the website….cancelled my booking and went to a competitor, where I got free parking!!…I work for Mapei UK Ltd who have over 200 reps in the field nationally….I will not be using this service again, and neither will my colleagues….good bye!

For the premium price I expected more than nachos or burgers for dinner. There isn’t much alternative in Gatwick north after 20:00, as the 24 hour Resturant on the 2nd floor isn’t operating 24 hours due to staff shortages. Breakfast was also disappointing, yes it’s open from 4am, but that’s continental breakfast only. The staff however where great. I’ll premiere inn it next time, use their shuttle service, and bag the £100 difference to pay entry for the airport lounge.
