Quiet, dark and peaceful. With FREE COFFEE

It's not for everyone - but I love The Bloc. Always sleep so so well. It's dark, completely quiet and nice Aircon. The app check in to operate the list was temperamental and annoying . Don't forget LEVEL 7 has a coffee room ... Fab fab coffee to take and all included .

The HVAC system controls were terrible. The shower connections were loose and water sprayed all over the place. No instructions on how to the nonsensical HVAC controls worked.

Great stay

Stayed here before our flight the next day. Perfect for those wanting a stress free trip. Literally beside the security, plus right beside restaurants and shops if you need dinner or forgotten something. Room is small but well suited for a one night stay. High quality rooms.

Bloc hotel is a super convenient option when you have a long layover or a short overnight stay at Gatwick. It worked out really well for us. Our room was modern, clean and well-stocked with all the necessities you'd expect (coffee maker, hair dryer, etc.)

Good receptionist

Excellent receptionist - very welcoming and helpful- not always a given in hotels with a multi turnover. I always look out for how reception staff greet you.
