The property was very nice for a coating inn staff very friendly and hardworking food breakfast was really good and meals on a night very good from a menu I will stay again

The staff were excellent, particularly Tess who I met on arrival at the hotel, she showed me to my room and explained everything I needed to know. The room including the en-suite shower room were decorated to a very good standard. My only issue which was more of an Expedia problem was that the location was not as close to the postcode area that I entered, therefore was a further travel than I expected. However the hotel and accommodation provided was very good.

Great stay here very warm welcome from all staff, rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you need, food was excellent, breakfast was 10 out of 10 especially the haggis !! overall a great place to stay !

We could not have asked for nicer hosts. Lovely couple. Food was excellent. Room was so comfortable and spacious. Hotel was in lovely countryside and quiet location. Highly recommend

Solo walking trip around Lindisfarne and Berwick. Booked for 2 nights and couldn’t have been happier! Really friendly and helpful staff, cheapest accommodation in the area that I could find which is always a bonus! Well situated not far from Coldstream on the English/Scottish Border and about 30 mins drive from Lindisfarne. Free breakfast included and the room was cleaned daily. Bed in single room may need to be changed soon as it seems to be on the way out but still slept fine nonetheless. Very happy with my stay!

Brillant overnight!

Brillant place to stay! The room was spacious and clean! Beautiful bathroom as well. The breakfast was also delicious and was ready very quickly for us. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Lovely country pub. Staff friendly and very accomodating. Great food and service. Awesome shower and clean room. Would recommend staying here if your passing through the area.
