nice place to stay, very clean, parking was difficult, limited space in the parking area, not sure where I would have parked if arrived after 6pm (B&B on a busy road) overall though really friendly, clean and comfortable

Good and bad, ok for a very short stay!

Good points, room clean and accommodated late check in. However I have got to say the room did not reflect the visuals on the internet. Very small room and bathroom and if we were planning on staying for longer it wouldn’t have been suitable.

You get what you pay for. Perfect for 1 night.

Hosts were friendly. Smooth check in & check out. Parking was terrible. Rarely a free space and the car park is small and awkward to navigate. I stayed in the courtyard area which was interesting to say the least. External door that opens onto a courtyard. The windows on the door had been covered up with stickers for privacy, but these were peeling in areas. The room felt run down and tired. Not very comfortable in my opinion. Carpets were a miserable brown and looked/felt like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Cobwebs under the desk and in the corners of the ceiling. The bedside table was a wrought iron outdoor table. TV remote was grimey. Bed clean and averagely comfortable. There was a plug in oil radiator in the room for heat. It wasn't the most efficient of heaters. Main lighting was cold and bright. Bathroom was small but clean. Note in the shower to reuse towels to save the environment, however had hung mine up each day and it still was removed. No 'do not clean' option to hang on the room. I stayed for three nights and wasn't too bothered about fresh towels daily, or the bed being made. Some amenities such as a kettle, tea, coffee, fan & iron. No ironing board though, so guessing by the mark on the carpet, previous guests had ironed stuff on the floor. Bottle of tap water looked old and had bubbles forming inside like it had been sat around for a while - ended up buying bottled water instead.

Polite host but uncomfortable beds

The beds were very uncomfortable, the man who greeted us was polite and friendly but as the beds were so uncomfortable it ruined the whole trip.

Good value but wouldn’t stay again

Parking is poor someone hit my car so moved to another car park and some scruffy man told me I couldn’t park there when the host said I could. The host was lovely and the main house very nice

Clean, comfortable stay

We stayed here twice, before heading off for flights early in the morning. Staff are really professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and cosy. Was a great hotel for our quick stop over. Would stay here again.

Think B&B not hotel. Jury out on staff.

Only stayed here after arriving late from a flight to Manchester. As we arrived late we had to follow a self check in process involving codes and keys.. bit painful in the dark after a long flight. Parking was full when we got there other than a disabled place that was an issue as there is nowhere else to park with easy access. Room OK - but think more of a B&B than hotel. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. On leaving there was no one at the reception desk (just one guy on a phone who ignored us so we just left key) - so we never actually spoke to any staff at all during our stay!
