Check out time is too early

The stay was good the only thing i don't like is their check out time, its too early at 11am and i am a silver member at hotel.com but they don't let you use your perks.

This is a very nice hotel well located in the heart of High street and an easy walk to the Cathedral. The daily breakfast buffet is very nice and well staffed.

Position is convenient for exploring Canterbury, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was alright, usual fare, cereals, fruit, toast etc, cooked food also on offer which can be a bit dried out.

Noisy- beware.

The hotel is lovely. Sadly there’s a club next door with a late licence so you won’t get to sleep before 1am on a Fri or Sat.

Lovely Hotel

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and hotel. Breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was fine. The Hampton by Hilton in York has mini fridges in the rooms, which would be a welcome addition in Canterbury’s rooms, but otherwise it’s a lovely place to stay in a great location. As a bonus, I could see the cathedral from my window.

We liked the whole hotel, it was very quiet. The only things we were not over happy with was that i could not find out how to turn off the extractor in the bathroom. The coffee machines do need a clean and one was noisy, and one seemed to pour out water after the coffee and not milk as required.

A short weekend break

My sister and I came to Canterbury for a short weekend stay - some fun, relaxation and sightseeing. We chose the hotel for its city centre location, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the overall impression of the hotel. Clean, super comfortable, great breakfast. Overall, an excellent stay.

Hotel was convenient, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size and spotless. Good selection of food and beverages for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
