Great hotel for the settings and the peace and quite but you need transport as there is only a garage down the road so its about ha room we stayed in need a shelf putting for 4 miles back into bury, Pluss there is 20 pounds authorisation fee to be paid. The room we stayed in needs a shelf putting up for wash bag and the hotel needs to spend money on repairs to the property.

Perfect cozy lodge

Warm, clean and fresh. Wonderfully comfy bed and amazing shower with heated floor tiles that added sofistication and further comfort. Patio outside hotel was a bit slippery; so be careful in damp weather and noise from toilet flush / air con. but nothing to keep us awake or worry about. We arrived late and left early the next day, so it was a flying visit. Reception staff were polite and very helpful. We are keen to stay again for longer next time. Great value (booked through Trip Advisor) and highly recommended.
