A listed property however needs external restorat

The building is a listed property. Few works needed on the outside to bring out the beauty. Restoration to be precise. Internal aesthetics is OK however the rugs or carpets might need changing. Overall it's still a beauty to behold and in a prime central location.

Good old fashioned hotel that has been modernised . Good bed and large tv. Open air parking free if booked on hotels . Com if you are a platinum member. Easy access to town centre walking

Could be better!

This is a lovely Hotel, with friendly staff and it is good value. However, my room and a number of my colleagues rooms were too warm to sleep comfortably in. I did raise the matter at the Reception desk and was told that it would be fixed but nothing was done. This is such a shame as it marred my stay as I hardly slept over the 2 night stay.

A lovely hotel. Really liked the seperate seating area in our room. Great value for money. Friendly staff. Definitely come back.

Clean and comfy for a stop over

Nice room clean but very hot. Toilet seat dint fit the loo and tap in the sink was a poor design as it did not full go over the sink so water went everywhere. Bed very bouncy and pillows a bit flat could do with extra. Pleanty of plugs and lights

Good, but not Great Victorian

Our room was spacious and comfortable, although the WiFi signal was very weak and the on demand tv function was intermittent at best - frustrating. The guy on the desk couldn’t help or suggest anything. Breakfast was rudimentary but acceptable wnough

Hotel was ok . Receptionists was not very pleasant on arrival . Need some training there . Apart from that room was clean ,parking outside and good location for the city centre . Watch when booking as I booked through hotels . Comwhich parking was free . If not £5 per day .

Having stayed in a Penthouse Suite I was looking forward to the novelty of the "two baths", however what I will say here is if you are going to do something please do it with style and quality; both baths were of poor plastic (cheap) quality, nothing what-so-ever was "luxury", the purple carpets and dark wood mixed with cheap furniture and terrible quality sheets / pillows made the whole thing quite tacky; the toilet seat was that poor quality and loose I felt uncomfortable.... then there was the room service, total lack of choice and the burger for £18 was terrible quality. The only saving grace was the staff, everyone i encountered was friendly, polite and an asset to the hotel.
