Breakfast was awful, veggie sausages were like smashed vegetables and came out half cooked and half frozen, Hash browns were soggy. Would definitely not stay at an ibis again, was pretty disappointed.

Comfy. Spent most of my time in the lobby. Nice bar with a few items on tap. Ideal space for working through the afternoon. Polite and helpful staff. Good wifi. Good value for money. Would stay again.

We had tickets for Strictly Come Dancing at Elstree Studios and decided to drive up and stay the night as trains were undergoing engineering works and a taxi was £105 each way - glad we did decide to stay as the SCD recording is a long day The hotel is less than a 5 min walk from Elstree Studios - absolute bonus when it’s 11pm and you’re absolutely shattered. Hotel is basic but clean and has all the facilities you need for this type of stay. Clean room, clean shower/toilet. Shower was actually quite powerful Facilities from what we saw were good and basic The ibis carpark has 20 spaces so if you miss a space, a free one, the overflow carpark which the hotel feeds into is huge with ample spaces. It uses ‘paybyphone’. I paid £5 for 24 hours but you can get it for £2 via reception. The mark down for me and I note this on all hotels that offer a buffet style. The prices you all set are ridiculous for what is offered. I know it’s buffet and you can eat what you like but no one goes greedy in these hotel types. But this is a generic whinge as all U.K. hotels do it

Room was very clean and comfortable. All staff was wonderful. Helpful and friendly. Its quite a way from London center, but accessible by public transit in under 90 min. Walls must be thick because I heard almost nothing from other rooms.

A little disappointed

We stay at this hotel fairly regalrly usually booked theough the hotels website, this tome we booked through hotels.com as we had some loyalty points to use against the booking. Althogh the rooms are extensively identical, the room we had was particularly worn and noisy due to the extractor system immediately outside the window. Maybe this is a lower quality room for hotels.com customers to counter hotels.com commissio .
