Spa and gym fairly good, jacuzzi not working and covered up, looks like it hasn't worked for some time. Poor customer service interaction all round - distracted check in process, not told anything about a 2 for £15 breakfast offer at check-in, and when told about it the next morning by the only helpful staff member encountered at the breakfast desk, who suggested I should speak to Stephen at reception, he couldn't help despite not being asked about it when we checked in, and because I booked through Expedia. I'm an IHG member, so the rationale makes no sense at all. Really poor customer service in general. Will definitely never stay here again.

Handy for Elstree Studios

Goof functional hotel

Rooms could do with a makeover a look dated, leisure facilities looked tired but all were clean and usable. Restaurant and bar areas were nice and comfortable with the food being very good.

Great hotel, well located for Elstree Studios

We were pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn as we were just looking for a reasonably priced bed for the night after visiting Elstree Studios. The hotel is stylish, with good amenities and friendly staff. Our only, but serious, gripe was that, having booked a table for dinner, when we arrived at the restaurant (15 minutes early) our table had been given to another couple. This meant we were seated at a small bistro table in a corner under a spotlight and alongside the thoroughfare to the carvery. We therefore ate our (very pleasant) meal in a canteen-like environment which ruined our evening. Nonetheless the food was of a very good standard and excellent value.

One night away

Very impressed with the hotel, even though the hotel was busy with wedding venue. I would definitely book with another stay with Holiday Inn.
