Excellent value for money

Only stayed one night before our flight. Smooth check-in. Polite staff. Spacious, quiet rooms with aircon and mini fridge. USB sockets. Good shower. Very comfy bed. Great linen and towels. Very Clean. Only few minutes drive from the airport. Affordable prices. Would use again.

A loud drilling-like noise can be heard intermittently (every 15 ish minutes) throughout the night making sleep impossible. The hotel is also a £18 taxi/Uber journey to the airport so factor that into the cost of the room vs other, closer hotels.

Nice little hotel beds needs reviewing

Had a lovely stay before going to the airport. The issue was the bed was too firm and pillows weren’t great. We didn’t stay for breakfast as had to be up early.

Great short stay hotel

Good short stay hotel. Lot of shops next door to buy fast food etc. Clean room with all basic necessities including iron which was really helpful.

Nice hotel but not necessarily the first choice

It's the first time I've stayed here when flying from Stansted airport. + Comfortable Good facilities including iron in room Staff very helpful and friendly Right next to Welcome break services so plenty of choice for food. Not restricted to hotel restaurant food choices. Good value price wise - room worn and in need of some care and attention. Bathroom damage - masking tape evidently over air vent? Holding it in place. Broken shower tiles. Difficult to get to if relying on public transport and expensive in taxi.

Disturbing sleep

The hotel was basic and convenient in location, which we knew and were happy to book due to an early flight the next morning. The staff were really nice and friendly, great touch having the bar for a night cap. The downside was that someone decided to leave their dog in their room unattended from about 10pm to 11.30pm and it barked constantly until they returned. I am all for dog friendly hotels, we have a dog, but some people are just inconsiderate which is not the hotels fault. Would we stay again?? Not sure

I was on the first floor, but once cheched in The reception night duty, helped my carrying my bag to my room. I checked out in the morning around 9.30 No help, i have a dislocated left shoulder and a swallel left foot. Not too sure if there was any availability on the ground floor, the least they should assured me to search and give mevan alternative

Rundown room that was grubby which smelt like smoke. Staff confirm parking was free and had our reg only to get £100 parking fine. Hotel doesn't answer the phone to resolve. I can see I am not the first to have this problem. Thankfully expedia got it cancelled but it wasted alot of time, cost and stress.

Nice and convenient to the airport. Lift was broken though. Had to carry up 4 cases up 3 flights of stairs. Definitely not ideal.

Does the job

Satnav took me to lorry park…the hotel is on the inside of the service station. No person on reception initially, but helpful once he came out a few minutes later. Clean basic room, but quite uncomfortable bed. Ok stop for an early flight , and 10-15 minute drive to drop off at airport (leave extra time for queue to get in). Expensive for what it was, but no cheaper alternatives that close to the airport.
