Room was welcoming

Very quick and easy check in, room was lovely and clean looking very inviting. Staff were friendly and approachable. Downside, car park was full and nowhere to park disappointing when staying overnight and at a function elsewhere, had to keep leaving the function walk through town to see if any spaces were free!!!! To prevent getting parking ticket, Eventually around 00.30 one came free

Really good value for money The breakfast room was a little overrun at 10am on a Saturday morning Wasn’t offered a seat and waited for ages and wasn’t offered a hot drink Food okay Rest of hotel was really good and good value for money

What was good for

The room was lovely, the view was good. We abbot's the service, it was not over baring, but it was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The only negative was the bath water was not hot enough, but otherwise a very enjoyable stay, with a good breakfast.

We had a lovely stay here, the hotel is impressive and looks fairly recently decorated The spa itself was a lovely space and I like that numbers are limited per seesion

After driving around for 40 minutes trying to find parking, we were in a room with noisy generators outside the window and a store room next door, we had an awful night sleep because of the noisy generator and 3x were woken by staff entering/exiting the store room, talking and unlocking/locking the door. The room was so hot we had the air con on, and it was rattling so loudly every time it started up. Causing us to wake up in the night. The pillows were really flat and bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Other than that we had a lovely time. The room itself was nice, as was the bathroom. Very clean. The breakfast and spa was great.

Really nice rooms and shared spaces. However, this is a bizarrely run hotel - with one of the worst restaurants/bar services I've ever experienced (incredibly busy but slow and uninterested staff, with restaurant management standing around not helping), and the pool is a paid extra (which has to be booked in advance) despite not disclosing this anywhere on the Expedia booking page. Pretty poor.
