EXCELLENT HOTEL.......FAR EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS F

I was greeted most warmly and the room was really good. To be honest my expectations were not high. I would certainly recommend this hotel to all.

Satisfactory

We stayed for one night before our flight from Manchester and found the location was terrific. Hale was an interesting little town with plenty of nice restaurants and shops nearby. Overall the room was fairly comfortable and clean but would've liked to be able to open the window a little. We could adjust the heating though so this wasn't much of a problem. For the price it was decent and suited our needs. We didn't really rely on any services whilst there so can't really judge that, but they were helpful and friendly upon arrival. I would recommend anyone flying early from Manchester to stay here. It only took about 12 minutes to the airport in a taxi.

Great location

This hotel is in a superb location on the high street close to all restaurants and bars no need for any taxis. The hotel could do with a little revamp as it is very dated however the hotel was very clean which is important. We booked this hotel last minute and the room was priced at £90 which I do not think was really worth the money but that may have been our fault for leaving the booking so late.

Excellent for my needs

Extremely obliging and helpful reception. Never having been to Hale before I enjoyed the stay very much. My only criticism would be the lift could do with a revamp but it worked perfectly well. I would definitely stay in the brittania group of hotels in the future.

1 night stay

Overall ok for 1 night stay if you get a discounted rate. Room 214 not great as all you can hear is a boiler/generator from outside the window

Below average

Stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. Hotel is very much in need of a refurb. Rooms are old & tired looking. Room keeping was extremely poor as in bag of towels etc being left outside hotel room Chevk in/out was quick & efficient. Reception staff were friendly & helpful

Hotel needs updating. Everything is old including the 1980s portable T.Vs! If it's just a bed for the night your after then it does the job Reception staff were friendly & helpful

One word: dreadful

Was in Manchester for pleasure so had lots planned which was a bonus as that meant we spent very little time in this drab and dreary hotel room!! The chair covers were ripped, carpets worn out the only decent thing was the shower!!
