Fenkle Apartment is situated in the heart of Alnwick, only a stone’s throw away from the high street, and a short walk from the popular tourist attractions of The Alnwick Castle, The Alnwick Garden, and one of the world’s largest second hand book stores, Barter Books. Alnwick is a bustling market town with a variety of independent boutiques, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The first floor apartment, located over two floors is within walking distance of a bus station, with great transport links into Newcastle and Berwick, and nearby towns and villages. Northumberland National Park and the award-winning coastline are within easy reach.

Alnwick town centre.

Not the apartment for you if you have mobility issues as there are two flights of stairs to negotiate to get to the bedrooms / bathroom. Entry is directly from the road and there is an immediate smell of mustiness / damp which gives an initial poor impression. However, the living room / kitchen is quite cosy and warm once heating is on. Television is antiquated with poor picture and a remote control that doesn't function properly. Bedrooms are fine although be warned about the large bright street light that is immediately outside the main bedroom and even with shutters closed still allows some light in. As stated in advert for this property there is significant early morning and late night noise as a result of its town centre location.
