Hello, Thank you for the great review.

The property was modern, quirky and had a lovely roof terrace. The only issue we had was climbing in out of the bath which was quite high to use the shower.

Disappointing stay this time. Slow check in and the lady in reception (Sorar, I think) wasn’t welcoming. Room was an odd lay out (rm 325). Sitting area downstairs with a wardrobe, settee, tv, dressing table with a very small mirror on and a sink area with tea and coffee making facilities. Narrow spiral staircase up to a mezzanine where the bed was and bathroom. There were no windows up on the mezzanine level so it was extremely hot. They did provide a tower fan but it wasn’t powerful enough. I had to sleep with a damp towel over me. It must have been unbearable in the heatwave a few days before. The downstairs bit was much cooler because of the windows. I got a piece of apple stalk stuck in my foot from the carpet - which wasn’t mine! Breakfast was disorganised chaos. Apparently there was only one chef on and they had had a few ‘walk ins’ so there was limited food and when one food item was replaced something else would run out. This created queues and some people getting a full breakfast before others who had been waiting a while. If they have staffing problems they should surely cater for the paid staying guests before taking ‘walk in’ people.

A swift, friendly and efficient check in. Shame my request for a bottle of Prosecco for my husbands birthday hadn’t been auctioned but this was swiftly rectified. Room was amazing. Lovely to have an up stairs with a sitting room and kitchenette as well as a toilet. Parking was easy - shame it’s an additional cost. Breakfast was great - greeted by friendly staff, plenty of choice and all hot. Shame we couldn’t stay more than one night. I would definitely stay again and it was only a quick taxi ride to Lowry theatre.

Ainscow hotel

I couldn't find much to complain about. The staff were helpful friendly and had a smile. They held our luggage safe so it wasn't left in the car. They were helpful with directions and advice on transport and called taxis when needed. Breakfast was lovely staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had what we wanted We will recommend to friends
