It was conveniently close to the Luton airport. BUT… It was quite loud at night. The step up to the bathroom was too high. The shower curtain did not contain the shower water so the bathroom floor stayed very wet. There should be at least two USB outlets in the room, but there were none. The building did not have a very fresh smell.

I've never had a problem with Citihotel

I don't know why this hotel gets so many bad reviews, the staff are always nice, it's convenient for the airport, has been modernised and is great value for money. I've stayed a few times before catching an early flight. I would recommend it.

Very budget and ok if you're good with little air

Budget hotel, so usually good with basics but the air was uncomfortably hot and stale. Mentioned to reception and they "turned on" the AC. It did nothing. I chose this over Thistle because they advertised AC, but no such thing and I suffered all night from it. It's like a prison cell. Had to put a shoe to keep the door open for some air flow. If you know Luton, not the safest to do this but it was needed. Choose Thistle with their free breakfast and at least they have a fan and open windows.

Tiny rooms, fine for a one night stay, similar to a hostel, but better in that you get your own bathroom and bed. Bathroom floor quite sticky and shower curtain had that musty mildew smell. Should probably have a constant ventilation van since there is no window. Good location for train station, and will be better once the improvements are done. About as basic as it gets.

The receptionist and staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean, however, the comfort level was lacking. The rooms are quite small, with only one pillow per person provided. There was no air conditioning or fan, and the windows didn’t open, making it feel stuffy. Overall, it’s a decent option if you just need a few hours to rest before heading to the airport, especially considering the price.

The room i was in was on the second floor and water was coming in from the ceiling it was all over the floor in the morning where my bag was and it got soaked not at all very happy usually I'm quite happy stopping at your place.

The men on reception were very helpful both gave me directions to local facilities and one obtained a hair dryer for me to use. The room was comfortable and clean and I slept well. It wasn't a problem for me as I had enough , however a couple may find a single pillow each not enough. Toiletries were lovely and I liked the fact it was not carpet flooring - so much cleaner.

Great staff. Had a room with a window but found okd tissue on floor and the main light didnt switch off so had to take the key out of its holder and again to turn on if you want to go to the bathroom. Floor is so creaky it must be heard on the floor below and neighbours. Otherwise convenient location
