Room was old, mattress needs to be replaced. Restaurant staff were lovely. Once again we got caught with no breakfast included due to booking through Expedia. At £16.95 it was to expensive so walked up to the High street and bought groceries as there was a fridge in the room.

We've stayed at this property many times ove the years always look forward to using the pool and leisure facilities,unfortunately now as guests you have to pay £10 each to use them so now maybe time for a rethink location brilliant

This hotel looks very impressive when you enter. The staff were all very nice and the common areas / restaurant all looked good. Our room was a great size with king sized bed and sofa bed. Unfortunately one of the curtains was hanging off and the air con didn’t work, luckily we had a fan and the windows opened. The bedrooms need some maintenance and deep cleaning. I would stay again but this hotel could be so much nicer. We used the pool and had breakfast, both very good.

Great Place to Stay

Room Spacious and Clean. Reception and Waiting Staff all very polite and welcoming. Only disappointment was having to pay £10 to use the pool. This is per stay, so reasonable for longer stays but we were only staying one night. We decided not to use the pool, which was disappointing as the pool was one of the facilities that stood out from other hotels in Exeter and why we booked. Expected this to be included in the price as it’s a facility. That being said, I would recommend a stay here

Noisy Room

We were given an accessible room even though we are able bodied. The room was on the first floor at the front of the building, above the smoking area. We were kept awake until 4:30 in the morning due to rowdy guests sitting on the benches every half hour or so. I tried calling the front desk but didn’t get an answer.

Excellent location for where we needed to be. Wedding at another venue. Lovely breakfast. Only criticism is having to pay to use the swimming pool etc per session. So didnt bother.
